Makane is a globe-trotting arms merchant, always looking for new products and customers.

One fateful day, the ship she’s riding across the sea is attacked by a mysterious creature, and she ends up shipwrecked on an island she’s never seen before.

The island is home to a bustling city and a labyrinth known as the Dungeon, imbued with a strange energy.

In this city, she learns of legends suggesting that a “Golden Land” of infinite wealth rests at the very bottom of the Dungeon.

Makane

An arms merchant who travels the globe to ply her trade.

When the ship she rides on an intercontinental voyage gets wrecked, she washes ashore without any of her supplies.

She has the passion and drive of a lifelong merchant and is friendly to almost everyone she meets.

Emilia

A member of Grimt’s town watch who helps Makane and her traveling companions after they drift ashore.

She’s always working to keep the peace in the city.

Her brother Ash’s lack of work ethic bothers her.

Ash

The captain of Grimt’s town watch, and Emilia’s older brother.

He always wanders the city, and never looks like he’s doing any work.

Both he and his sister help Emilia as she explores the Dungeon.

Richelle

A member of the Rainbow Brigade, a mercenary band under the direct employ of Schwein.

Though she feels she owes Makane a debt of gratitude for saving her life, she still opposes the merchant alongside Schwein.
